Sterling

flyers on the train she had created from information from the Seminole Gulf
Railway website (www.semgulf.com).
The cost is expected to be about $80 per person with cost, tax and
gratuity. Everyone will call in
their own reservations (1-800-736-4853 or 239-275-8487) and reference that
they are with the Nautical Dive Group so that we are seated by each other.
If going to the beach, meet at Caspersen around
noon
and remember to bring your own refreshments as there are no vendors at the
beach.
The
officers for this year are Claudia Harris as President, Mike Kent as Vice
President, Nellie McCarthy as Treasurer and Jane Gamble as Secretary.
A
trip to
Fort
Desoto
for July 12th was discussed. Ted
Delong will see if he can get two camping sites for dive club members to camp.
More details at the next meeting.
If camp sites are not available, then perhaps the group can plan for a
future trip. Linda Wheelock
suggested that the club go to
Fort
Desoto

A
reminder that the annual Fourth of July party is scheduled to begin around
5:00

Volunteers are needed help with the set up. Jane will provide
Marian with a list of club members so that she can make arrangements for entry
into
Lake
Como
and to get parking slips for car windshields.
Richard
Taylor had offered the use of his house on Sugar Loaf Key to the club for
$250.00 a night rental, but there is a 3 night minimum; Nellie expressed
concern with getting member participation to meet that requirement.
Nellie thanked Richard for his offer, but the club would not be
planning a trip to Sugar Loaf Key at this time.
Nellie suggested going to
Key Largo
in September to the
John
Pennekamp
State Park
, Ted suggested
Fort
DeSoto
as another alternative and Don Patterson thought another Miss Daisy trip could
be planned. Linda asked Ted to
look into reserving
Fort

in September.
