President's Report
Members and visitors introduced themselves at the request of the President.
Birthday wishes to Ted and Bob
Request for Secretary Karen Engle volunteered.
Request for Membership Chair. Nancy Moore volunteered.
Three members when on the Playlinda Beach trip and had a good time.
Committee Report
Bob Moore gave and report on AANR Club membership, which is at 23. The membership was requested to turn in their AANR Charter and transfer to PLCA AANR Charter and the request of the Paradise Alliance. This was voted on and denied.
Old Business
A report was given by Bob on the Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Refuge for the purposes of a future canoe trip. A date was set for September 26th.
New Business
A trip is planned for Apollo nude beach for September 18th.
A trip is planned for tubing on the Rainbow River for August 29th. We will meet the Dragonfly shop at 10AM. The President will send out an email of details.
A trip is planned for Ginnie Springs for August 22nd. The President will send out details.
A trip is planned for a snorkel, swim and dive trip in Key Largo for October 16th. Details will be discussed at a future meeting.
Miscellaneous
Marcia gave a talk on a PANDA meeting at Lake Como on August 10th, which will include wine tasting.
Bill talked on the Caliente Lions Club.
